The impetus for this project was photographer Anne Muller.
She heard about Pablo's music and foundation from a friend and decided to pursue the lead. I accompanied her down to San Diego, where Pablo was stationed for a week of concerts and school visits. While I shot video and recorded sound, Anne, documented the narrative with black and white photographs. On our return I was able to make a short video documentary and then edit Anne's incredible images over the interview for a very compelling slideshow. We plan to do many more of these narratives.
