SNACKS FOR YOUR EYES: House Boat Transfer Across SF, BAY

House Boat Transfer Across SF, BAY

Its not every day you get to follow a 200,000 pound house-boat on its path home – from Sausalito to San Francisco – passing the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and then the Bay Bridge. This was just about the most dramatic entrance I've ever made into San Francisco thanks to a very cooperative chase-boat (piloted by Cap'n George) and some incredible weather. The good news is the boat floats and Sarah and Kimo are ready to start a new home together (literally.) The only bad news is that I forgot the bloody mary mix.

Here's the story of the house-boat's first few chapters from the seafaring owners: http://kimoandsarahbuildahouseboat.com/blog/
