Sunset in Joshua Tree

We drove all day from Vegas to Joshua Tree, or atleast that's what it seemed like. By the time we left, we were all a few minutes away from going insane. Vegas can do that to you. As the adult Disney Land receded into the distance we began to forget our debt, over-indulgence, and nausea. The desert landscape opened up and the air smelled like a free-sauna. Once we got to the house in Joshua Tree we were in such a rush to see the sunset that we forgot half of the grocery supplies (including most of the steaks) at the store. We also bought a case of miniature beers by mistake. Fortunately we returned with just enough time to watch the show and forget our woes.
