Mr. Espresso is largely responsible for our current coffee culture (obsession) on the West coast. Carlo Di Ruocco has been importing Espresso machines and roasting coffee beans in Oakland for more than 30 years. I got an opportunity to tour the warehouse and roasting facilities a couple weeks ago during a photo-shoot for the company. Let me warn you: once you get a taste for their oak-roasted coffee - you can't go back. Fortunately Mr. Espresso coffee beans are sold to cafes and restaurants through-out the Bay Area.
