There have been a few times recently when I'm interviewing a subject for a film and they say something that is so intuitive and effortless that it surprises both of us and the phrase or 'catch-line' sticks. The subject of this film, Paul Kirchner, was discussing his liquor cabinet and in a fit of clarity said, "
This is that valuable - I'll die - if someone assures me it'll be in the MOMA under 'Maker Unknown' – early 2000's Maker Unknown......." I would definitely agree that his work does belong in MOMA.
