FROM THE ARCHIVES: Julie & Alex - Ann Arbor, MI.
I remember this shoot like it was yesterday - October 30, 1998. I had just purchased a 50mm f1.4 lens for my Nikon D70 camera. I got Julie and Alex to pose for me in the field behind our high school on our lunch break. It was the autumn of our senior year and the whole world seemed so open and exciting as we readied ourselves for college or whatever was next. In retrospect we were all so naive, fresh, and 18 - and yet the lines on their faces show a certain youthful wisdom.
